Medi-Cal, California’s version of Medicaid paid for a big chunk of my cataract surgeries in 2015, without which I would be blind right now.
Trump and the Republicans want to give a $1 trillion dollar tax cut to the rich as outlined in their tax bill.
$800 billion of that is suppose to come from this Medicaid cut.
We can get a twofer here, if the Democrats get on board, by stopping the AHCA in the Senate.
By doing that Trump and the Republicans will not have the money available to give a $1 trillion dollar tax cut to the rich.
We all need to call our senators, Republican or Democrat, at least once a week and tell them to kill the AHCA.
