Those who actually run the American show want to replace Trump with Pence. Seems legal.
But then the crazy, fascist, authoritarian, Evangelical, Right (in this case Abbott) steps in and blows Pence’s cover.
A Mike Pence presidency would be even more oppressive then the current Trump presidency because Pence is an ideologue and Trump is not.
Pence is, by his own accounts, a “reformed sinner” and that makes him a true believer.
Pence actually believes that he’s being guided by God and by God’s word.
That belief makes him absolutely nuts and dangerous to anyone who hasn’t been “born again.”
Oh look, he has big hands.
So we get to go from fascism to theocracy… Is that an upgrade or a downgrade? Oh wait, nobody’s saying the fascism part goes away at the onset of the theocracy, never mind.
Yep, Pence showed up in Houston and now everything’s gonna be alright!
