I always assumed McGahn was a teeny bit crooked, because he went to the same law school all the Republican scumbags attended in the suburban county where I was a reporter. Not to say that everyone who went there is crooked — only that most of the really crooked county lawyers went there.

I wonder if, after Michael Cohen pleads to paying hush payments to multiple women which is a campaign finance violation, reporters will discover that Don McGahn was Trump's campaign lawyer or nah, still just a witness on obstruction?

Little known fact re Don McGahn: His uncle Paddy McGahn was boss of Atlantic City & brought gambling & Trump to A.C. That turned out so well that @realDonaldTrump owed$4B & had to be bailed out by Russia. https://t.co/8jf9Gm72ck𝓗𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮-of-trump-house-of-Putin-by-Craig-Unger https://t.co/ad2LxFy7dX

There is a shitload of corruption in this country and it’s across the board.
But the corruption within the political class is extraordinary.
“The root of all evil is money.”
Before the political class went on their August vacation they, Republicans and Democrats, passed a $717 billion dollar military spending bill.
$55 billion of those $717 billion taxpayer dollars were earmarked to build 4 aircraft carriers.
First of all, why do we need 4 brand, spanking new aircraft carriers?
Secondly, wouldn’t you like to be a principle in Huntington Ingalls Industries who got the $55 billion dollar contract to build these 4 carriers? You’d now be set for life.
Lastly, how much of that $55 billion was kicked back to the politicians, like the thief and criminal Duncan Hunter from San Diego, in campaign contributions?
NOTE: This week Congress will take up the “humanitarian” portion of the spending bill.
