Beto lost by a whisker. But a lot of really rotten Republican congress members lost to Democratic challengers — and Kris Kobach got his ass kicked by a girl in his attempt to be the next governor of Kansas. (Of course, Trump will probably appoint him to a White House job.) And now we have subpoena power, which doesn’t suck.
