Item 3: This grand jury witness (Sam Clovis) also happened to advise Whitaker on how to get a job in the Trump administration, which Whitaker then landed with Clovis' former colleague, A.G. Jeff Sessions.

Trump hated Sessions’ guts and forced him to accept Whitaker as his Chief of Staff as the price for not being fired.
Trump refused to be briefed by Sessions about anything.
Periodically Trump would summon Whitaker to his office and Whitaker would sing like a canary about the comings and goings of Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller.
Trump thought long and hard about exactly when and how to make Whitaker “his” Attorney General. Trump asked for input from all sorts of lawyers about the constitutionality of the move.
Unfortunately for Trump, and under the heading “best laid plans…..,” the Democrats took control of the House of Representatives and Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters is now always on his mind.
Which is why Trump is sitting in his room, in the dark, sulking and refusing to go outside or meet people like the King of Jordon, who was in Washington yesterday.
It’s all blown up in his face the hateful little creep.
