Mueller’s investigation is moving down two separate tracks, one economic and the other political.
Nobody thought that Trump would become the next president. Not even Trump.
So Trump, his Family including Kushner, Cohen and a few others focused on the economic track during the campaign.
They set up business deals, like the Trump Tower Moscow, that could be cashed in on after Trump was defeated.
Bannon, Corsi, Stone, et all, all focused on the political end of things by digging up dirt on the Clinton’s in order to lay the groundwork for a post-election impeachment move.
Then Trump won and everybody around him knew that sooner or later he, and they, would be found out to be the criminals that he, and they, have been for their entire greedy and corrupt lives.
