"In anticipation of having to work with a Democratic governor, [Republican] state lawmakers are aiming to hurriedly pass legislation that would dilute the executives' powers." A great look at the GOP usurpation shenanigans going down in WI and MI. https://t.co/qfNNiI3fjG

The last thing the oligarchs and plutocrats want is for the “people” to be in charge. Of anything.
And enough already with the ass-kissing and whitewashing of Bush the Elder by the media.
Bush was a acolyte of modern Neo-liberalism, (See Maffeo Pantaleoni , Fascism.)
The principle elements of Neo-liberalism are privatization and union busting (labor market flexibility).
Bush adopted the theory after extensive conversations with right wing economist Milton Friedman (Ayn Rand, Friedrich Hayek).
Friedman (Chicago Boys) was responsible for designing Chilean dictator Gen. Pinochet’s economic reforms in Chile (1974-75), which included privatizing the Chilean Social Security System.
Bush the Elder was also responsible for countless “small wars (CIA),” civil wars (VP & Pres.), future wars (Iraq), and the death of untold innocents (collateral damage).
His brand of Neo-liberalism was accepted and embellished by both Clinton and Bush the Idiot, with NAFTA. CAFTA, austerity, and war.
We would all be better off today had Bush the Elder never gone into public life.
Neo-liberalism is a failure.
They hate democracy because when it’s conducted fairly, they lose.
