  1. These modern day robber barons absolutely believe in science.
    But they believe in making money at any cost so science be damned. Along with the health of the public.

    Take Raul Ryan for example.
    Yesterday Ryan buried a paragraph in the Farm Bill relieving bin Salman of any fault in the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi.
    Obviously Ryan is expecting to become a highly paid lobbyist for either Saudi Arabia or Israel when he retires next month.

    In the Senate yesterday 49 Democrats and 7 Republicans voted to end US involvement in the war in Yemen and to condemn the murderer bin Salman and Saudi Arabia.

    That’s a good first step and should be followed by a Senate and House vote to end America’s longest war in Afghanistan and our military involvement in Syria early next year.
