You know, the top 5% who earn millions and delight in daily pulling our chains.
On Sunday (D) Representative Ocasio-Cortez said that the top 5% should be paying more taxes.
She indicated that for every dollar of income that anyone makes over $10 million, they should pay a tax rate of 70%. (A real progressive would have put a 70% tax rate on anything over $1 million instead of $10 million.)
Ocasio-Cortez had barely gotten the words out of her mouth before the plutocrats began oink, oink, oinking like stuck pigs. (“Get away from my stack.”)
The top 20% of the wealthiest Americans own 80% of America’s wealth.
That concentration of wealth in so few hands is dangerous to our democratic-republic and must be distributed downward if we are to survive as a free nation.
The plutocrats are also lovers of the endless wars, like in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere, for obvious profitable reasons.
