Every US border is secure.
And except for several thousand refugees trying to escape starvation and violence, that’s true about our southern border as well.
That is not the case for Russia.
Although Russia’s northern border is relatively secure, it shares an eastern border with China.
Russia shares its southern border with several unstable states which are home to millions of Islamic militants and tens of thousands of US combat troops and their weapons systems.
Then there’s the aggressive and heavily armed, pro-US, NATO all along its western border.
With those facts in hand Pelosi and the other pro-war Democrats had the gall and temerity to tell NATO leaders and our NATO allies that the “United States commitment to NATO was ironclad.”
What foolishness.
That message would have been delivered in person had Trump not cancelled Pelosi’s trip.
If you were Putin what would you do to protect Russian sovereignty, which you are required by law to do, against lunatic warmongering from the West?
Your naivete concerning Putin’s intentions is scalar with Trump’s. I recommend a tour of Grozny, Crimea or Northern Syria to get your mind fixed on Putin’s notions of self defense.
Instead of booking a trip to all of these places, could you please relate to us what you saw and heard on your visits to Grozny, Crimea and Northern Syria?
Democratic Representative Charlie Wilson’s intentions (1980-1988) in Afghanistan were no more high minded then the Soviets intentions were.
And the result of Wilson’s actions have ended up being catastrophic for all of us.
