The “Oliver’s” in Rome must have felt the same way about the destruction of their culture as the vandal hordes came at them from every directions. All of everything is cyclical. Birth–maturity–death. Take Trump for example. His vision was met first by mass resistance which was followed by a massive uprising. Whether that uprising will morph into an open rebellion or a rapid evolution to a new normal is, at this point, anybody’s guess.
