Mayhew did such a good job that when La Page retired he picked her as his successor. She lost to a Democrat.
So Trump hired Mayhew to manage the $375 billion dollar federal Medicaid program.
When the Democrats took back the House Mayhew was shown the door.
But no worries because the newly elected governor of Florida, Republican Ron DeSantis, hired Mayhew, at Trump’s request, to be his Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Oh, and crazy Paul La Page retired to Florida after leaving office.
