There’s no question that impeachment shouldn’t be initiated until enough of Trump’s crimes are accepted by both sides of the aisle. I don’t understand why this is even controversial! Ignore all the noise, Pelosi knows what she’s doing:

Both sides are right on this issue. This is both a constitutional problem and a tactical political problem.
But because Trump survives on the oxygen of division the smart play here is to end his political career by voting him out of office.
Focusing on the issues like Medicare-for-all and a minimum living wage, instead of fighting a protracted mud-slinging battle with Trump leading up to the 2020 election makes more sense.
If Democratic voters flood the polls in 2020 and end Trump’s reign of terror along with that of all of his Republican enablers, it’ll be a great day for the Democrats.
