  1. Harry Hamid, one of my favorite bloggers is a lawyer in Houston who works with low income clients and volunteers at the free legal clinic there.
    He’s going through some hard times with his health right now, and I’m trying to be as supportive as I can, because I like him, and I admire him for doing good even when it is not required.

  2. I thought there was, at least in most jurisdictions, a requirement that you perform some pro bono work every year to maintain your standing in the bar association
