That Trump and his handlers felt it necessary to put on this display of Nationalism at this time, tells us more about Trumps precarious political position then it does about anything else.
30% (about) of Americans believe that Trump represents the Second Coming and the completion of the work of the KGC.
They would be Evangelical Christians and/or racists.
Trump raised $100 million in the 2nd quarter.
The top tier Democratic candidates raised more then that.
Taken together, the 21 Democrats running hauled in something north of $150 million.
There is plenty of money going to the Democrats.
