  1. Chuck Schumer will be a dead man walking politically if he continues on with his Trump/Kim-style, bipartisan, bromance with Mitch McConnell.
    The border bills was awful.

Schumer now has the military spending bill on his plate which is already in conference.

The Senate wants to give the military $750 billion, the House even more, in 2020 to buy weapons of war.
Obama gave the military $611 billion for FY 2017.
That’s $6.1 trillion over ten years which seems quite adequate.

Instead of the Democrats (warmongers) in the House and Senate giving the military $750 billion next year, why don’t they strip out $150 billion ($1.5 trillion over ten years) from the military budget to fund an infrastructure bill?

The money spent on infrastructure will create far more good paying jobs then the military ever will.
And in the long term we’ll all be more “secure in our persons, houses, papers and effects.”

Note: Rep. Amy McGrath announced that she will be running against Mitch McConnell in 2020.
That’s good news and bad news.
The bad news is that McGrath is more a Republican then she is a Democrat.
The good news is that she ain’t Mitch McConnell.
