Once again, I’m blown away by your generosity. This was a perfect storm this month: The IRS said they made a mistake on my estimation of taxes due on my settlement agreement, and I had to pay them right away. The AC compressor for my car was double the original estimate, and my electric bills this summer are through the roof, and I have to make my first Medicare payment this month.
And so it goes. I am trying to get my new business off the ground, but obstacles abound. I don’t know, frankly, when (or if) it will start making a profit.
But I do know that in this shitty line of work, covering the tsunami of Trump crimes, that if I hadn’t asked for help, I wouldn’t have such a much-needed reminder of human kindness. So thanks to everyone who helped, I really appreciate it.
