Cops think they should be above the law

Where did they get that idea? From the politicians who court and protect them? Most people don’t realize this, but police departments are supposed to have an updated policy and procedures manual to cover things like, oh, I don’t know, chokeholds — in order to get a lower rate on liability coverage. But police departments often refuse to update (and the politicians look the other way) because you actually can’t hold a cop personally liable for abusing a suspect if he was never specifically told not to do the thing he did. So the manual in most cities is just one big loophole.

That’s why I don’t want to hear cops whining about how oppressed they are for the rare times they’re held accountable:

  1. Which man do you suppose Joe Biden supports? The crazy union leader or the crazy police commissioner?

Scaramucci attended a fund raiser for Joe Biden over the weekend.

Maybe Joe Biden should primary Trump as a Republican if people like Republician Scaramucci are interested in voting for him?

Both Biden and Trump often misspeak and tell untruths.
Both think that Warren and Bernie are Socialists.
Neither man wants to eliminate for-profit health insurance corporations from the health care equation. (Bernie and the unions better rethink their position on this one.)
Both agree that US policy and Israeli policy relating to the Middle East should be exactly the same.
Both men support a bloated and very dangerous military budget.
    And on it goes.

The Democratic Party needs an antidote to Trump, not an old, white, guy who often sounds and thinks like Trump.
