Trump told General Milley, Chairman of the JCS, some time ago to remove all American troops from Afghanistan by Christmas.
On Saturday General Milley said that he would remove all of the troops only after certain criteria was met by both the Taliban and by the Afghan government.
It is General Milley’s job to follow orders.
It is not his job to set up his own preconditions before following those orders.
