The derivation of the word ‘Amen’ is interesting.
It was first used in Numbers (5:22) between 1450-1419 BC.
But it came into common use by the Egyptian masses as an expression of exaltation to honor Amenhotep IV (Akhenaten) the Heretic King 1350 BC.
