  1. Can’t argue with that Slim.

This past Saturday at 9 AM on pad 39A the for-profit companies of SpaceX and ULA co-launched a satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office, an agency of the DOD.
Both SpaceX and United Launch Alliance were given multi-million dollar contracts last August —$316 million to SpaceX and $337 million to ULA—to co-launch its satellites.
What function this satellite will perform is top secret.

The mission patch was of an angry gorilla beating its chest and the motto “Peace Through Strength.”
NRO explained that its mission is to “protect our warfighters.”

The Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (Trumps idea) represents an acceleration of the US commitment to militarize and possibly conduct warfare in outer space.
For-profit companies like SpaceX and ULA are ready to assist the government in that endeavor.
    For a handsome profit.

Should we be relying on for-profit corporations like SolarWinds, SpaceX and ULA to be maintaining government data and helping the US fight wars in space?
