It’s hard to dislike VP Kamala Harris; it’s even harder to like her. The Wilmington, NC coup, massacre, riot, insurrection—take your pick—occurred on November 10, 1898. The coup was carried out by Wilmington’s White Supremacists unhappy with the Republican mayor and the “Negro rule” which allowed Blacks to vote.
