The violence that Netanyahu ordered began when a group of heavily armed Israeli commandos burst inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque and started roughing up worshipers at prayer.
That Israeli intrusion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque was the straw that broke the camels back.
Palestinian’s were already angry about Netanyahu’s plan to evict Palestinian’s from the whole of Jerusalem in order to make way for illegal Israeli “settlers” (militant extremists).
Palestinian’s became even angrier when they learned that both Israel and the United States had pressured Mazen to cancel the May 22 elections which Hamas was going to win going away——fair and square.
