  1. In 2008, the company I had been working for was sold to a similar Canadian company and we rebranded and relaunched under the new name and new process.
    As a supervisor, a lot of overtime hours became available to me during that time, and given the $12.50/hr I was being paid, I took them all.
    In April of 2008, after more than 3 months of 10 to 13 hour days that started at midnight, I had a stroke and haven’t been able to work since, despite a massive daily effort at my recovery.
