America’s hand-picked president in Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, has refused to enter into a ceasefire with the Taliban until this past Sunday.
On at least 3 separate occasions over the past 8 weeks the Taliban have asked for a ceasefire and were ignored by both Ghani and the US.
Finally on Sunday both the US and Ghani demanded that the Taliban honor a ceasefire after it became clear that the Taliban would shortly take control of the entire country and there would be no power sharing.
Neither Biden nor Blinken have learned anything after all these years. Dumb bastards.
