Good

  1. Representative and Blue Dog (Problem Solver) Democrat Josh Gottheimer (NJ) is a demagogue and a warmonger who craves attention.

So is Representative Seth Moulten (D-MA), who like Gottheimer, is warmonger and a demagogue looking for attention.
“There are at least 300,000 Afghan’s who helped us and who now need to be evacuated from Afghanistan,” Seth claimed.
(Fascist General Jack Keane said there were one million.)

It’s people like Representatives Moulten, Liz Cheney and Josh Gottheimer who did not want the war in Afghanistan to end.
They all worked very hard to see that it didn’t.

  2. BAD. Very bad. This is Mitch at his most brilliant. If Repubs vote with “moderate” Dems, over the objections of progressives, to pass the infrastructure bill without passing the $3.5 T reconciliation measure, Mitch will have check mated Nancy (who as recently as yesterday swore that no infrastructure bill would be passed without the reconciliation bill). The reconciliation bill may still pass, but only after being whittled down to a toothpick by the likes of Manchin and Sinema and other deficit hawks who oppose raising taxes meaningfully on the rich and corps. Biden’s bold agenda will fail. The Dems will get wiped out in the mid terms, as nothing they have promised in direct help to the working class will happen. Not to mention the bulk of climate change funding. Manchin and Sinema will be the de facto pres & VP. The whole Dem legislative agenda will go down in smoke, including meaningful voting rights.

You do not want this to happen any more than you want Newsome to be recalled, as bad as he is. Because he will probably be replaced by a right wing, talk show lugnut. Who will nominate a Mitch Republican to replace Feinstein (now 89) should she leave us. BTW, DiFi has registered to run for reelection when she is 91. She would be 98 when she finished that term.

Death favors the Republicans, as Dems apparently believe they are immortal. RGB, Breyer (83), and DiFi. Just another way Dems continue to defeat themselves and enable the window to shift always, inexorably to the right.

    We’re toast. Literally.
