That’s the battle cry of the group of “moderate Democrats” led by Representatives Henry Cuellar (TX) and Josh Gottheimer (NJ) who are trying to kill the Human Infrastructure Bill.
Obstructionists Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema are egging on this group of Blue Dogs.
Biden, Pelosi and Schumer all support passing the $1.2 trillion hard Infrastructure Bill in tandem with the $3.5 trillion Human Infrastructure Bill.
But Cuellar, Gottheimer, Manchin, Sinema and a few other Democratic-Republicans are opposed to increasing taxes on the rich and corporations.
The increase in taxes will pay for the $3.5 trillion Human Infrastructure Bill so that nothing will be added to the existing national debt.
“Pay as you go.”
Isn’t that some sort of Big Lie Party Commandment?
Both of these bills need to be passed and the Blue Dog group should fess up and tell us that they care more about the rich and famous then they do about the rest of us.
