It turns out that Joe Manchin has fewer Republican friends in the Senate then he thought he had.
Manchin claimed that he could find 10 Republican votes if the Democrats let him write the voting rights bill.
They did, and yesterday Manchin got exactly zero Republican votes for his bill in the Senate.
The entire Democratic Party has been unable to convince either Manchin or Sinema to vote like Democrats on the $3.5 trillion Human Infrastructure Bill.
That makes the Democratic Party look ineffectual.
