It’s being said more and more often that Liberal Democracy is dead because Liberalism is dead.
If that means that after 40 years (Reagan) the “every man for himself” (traitor Trump)
philosophy of government controlled by corrupt “rugged individualists” (traitor Trump) has finally given way to a more inclusive and less militant philosophy of government controlled by the anti-Liberals (Progressives) then a round of applause is in order.
If Liberalism is dead, and let’s hope that it is, then the Republican Party is also dead.
