  1. Garland is going to need a bigger budget.

    Speaking of budgets, Biden proposed his $5.8 trillion budget for 2023 yesterday.

    $795 billion for the military. A $30 billion increase over 2022. The Republicans want a $50 billion increase.
    $915 billion in domestic spending,
    for a total of $1.71 trillion.

    The other $4.1 trillion will be spent on mandatory spending such as Social Security (self-financed), Medicare (self-financed), Medicaid, and interest on the national debt ($303 billion in 2022).

    Biden will increase taxes on the rich and cut the annual budget deficit by $100 billion.
