The money generated turned the district budget from a $250,000 deficit to a $1.8 million surplus.

Lordy. Why does this just make me want to cry?
What we could have if more of us just did it.
If we had started decades ago of requiring every large flat roofed building to have solar panels and every large parking lot to have solar panel car parking covers, this country would be energy independent now.
But that is some kind of Hippe tree hugger wacko idea!
