SCOTUS decision on presidential immunity. I love my country, but I wonder what will be left to love.

I was convinced that the only trajectory likely to succeed was 1) grant statehood to Washington DC and Puerto Rico. 2) Get John Lewis Voting Rights passed (I forget what it was actually called). And 3) expand the Supremes to match the number of Circuit courts.
But none of the major professional politicians seemed to feel that was the way to go. (Yeah, I know. Manchin and Sinema. Both of them were as squirrelly as spiral staircases. Do like LBJ, blackmail the hell out of the bastards and make them shut up. Extralegal as hell, but _necessary_.)
I figured the professionals knew more than I did. I’m becoming really worried us amateurs were right.
Sotomayor is correct to fear for her country. The Supreme majority declared war on America and democracy.
