And while I may not know much, I do know this: Before we get too close to the election, we best get rid of Louis DeJoy.

Keeping DeJoy on the USPS Board is symptomatic of a core Democratic stupidity. It is similar to keeping a Republican in other critical positions such as chair of the Fed board. Both Obama (Bernanke) and Biden (Powell) did this when their terms expired. It is also been standard practice for Dem administrations to keep a (for instance) a Republican Sec Defense in place, which creates the impression that Republicans are the Daddy party who must be left in positions of great importance. It is absurd that there are no Dems capable of doing these jobs. At a time when the election will be significantly impacted by the performance of the economy, why would you want a Republican in charge of regulating, for instance, interest rates?
Sorry, this sentence was not clear.
“Both Obama (Bernanke) and Biden (Powell) did this when their terms expired.”
Should read: “Obama and Bided both did so by reappointing Republicans Bernanke (Obama) and Powell (Biden) when their terms as Fed Chair expired.
