I KNOW, RIGHT?

Right now the prevailing ethos in DC is "Trump won so the law is immaterial and he can rule as dictator." He's not allowed to appoint his own FBI director, but everyone has decided to let him. He can't unilaterally create an agency for Elon Musk, but we're just going to treat it as real. Appalling.

Biden, who won with a MUCH larger majority than Trump, was not permitted to govern as an autocrat. He was expected to obey the law and respect norms, he was resisted frequently and immediately, and his efforts were often blocked. But the DC power class has decided Trump's win simply makes him king.

This discrepancy is largely of Democrats' own making. In their endless idiotic quest to be savvy, they've decided that the smart prediction is that nothing will stop Trump, that the country doesn't care about his abuses, and have "savvily" moved out of the way for him. Their voters should torch them
