I can’t stand Schumer, but it’s not his fault

So you're blaming Schumer for not controlling three members who've been voting with the Republicans 14 straight times. Fetterman who's being Fetterman. Kaine who represents a shiton of Federal Workers and Military Personnel, and a Dick Durbin who's cheese has been sliding off his cracker?

  1. This is exactly the same deal that Thune offered initially. Dems got NOTHING. You think this could have happened under LBJ? No way this happened without Schumer at the very least looking the other way. More likely he was complicit.

The timing is also instructive. Trump is on the ropes with his approval rating slipping and some significant losses in the courts, and the Dems just won major electoral victories both nationally and it the states. The Dem base is finally moving (glacially) left. This is when you cave?

Bottom line: it doesn’t even matter if he is “to blame.” He should be toast. Great time for him to ride off triumphally into the sunset with Nancy.

Bye, bye Chuckie and good riddance to your favorites: “Israel uber alles” and the carried interest tax loophole to benefit private equity and hedge fund investment managers. You f**king Wall Street sellout.
