Southern man

A friend’s son was talking about moving here, and wanted his mother to move there, too. “You don’t want to move there,” I said, and explained why. And now it’s all out in the open:

They’re against diversity. And they want Black people grouped together in one part of town, until it comes to our voting power. We see you.

  1. There used to be two, if not three, blue dots in TN. Nashville, Memphis and maybe Knoxville. But over the last decade the GOP cracked all of them.
    My sister lived in Nashville for 40 years in the People’s Republic of East Nashville but the rest of the state got so bad she decided to move. We now live in People’s Republic of Oregon. She’s MUCH happier!
    I lived in Maryland so moving to Oregon was a wash for me, politically, but definitely better weather wise. I laugh when people out here think it’s humid. They have no idea!
