Light in the tunnel

Yesterday I met with a team from the pain center, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I thought they would just throw a lot of pills at me, which would mean countless months of falling asleep and not being about to function. Instead, they described a bunch of procedures that short-circuit pain signals — which, if you know about pancreatic cancer, is no small thing.

So I’m a lot less worried today.
