Remember when conservatives cared about the deficit?

Crocodile tears. They only care when there’s a Democrat in the White House — they LOVE deficits when there’s a Republican in the Oval Office. They will shamelessly use it as an excuse to cut Medicare, Social Security, and the rest of the safety net. Assholes.

  1. Federal tax receipts have declined by 33% over the last 11 months because of the Ryan/McConnell/Trump tax cut.
The federal government spent $895 billion more then it took in in taxes during that same 11 month period.
Corporations paid 30% less in taxes then they did last year during that same time frame.

So what are the Republicans proposing to do about this serious debt problem?
They are offering Americans, who are economic illiterates, another Tax Cut 2.0, which will add an additional $1 trillion to the deficit. (Don’t we teach the principles of economics in our schools, K-12? Isn’t it a mandatory subject each year?)

WTF? How does increasing our deficit and adding to our national debt do anything except bring the country closer to bankruptcy?

Now, a cynic (sometimes referred to as a conspiracy nut) might say that in order to cut, slash, and eventually eliminate all of our social programs, the Republicans are purposely driving us into bankruptcy. Or at least instilling the “fear” in us that we may be going broke. In order to justify their dirty, underhanded and Draconian measures directed at ending the Commons.
    Remember Greece. Or Puerto Rico.

Republicans are the enemy and the oligarchs are the puppet masters. Vote ’em out on November 6.
