But, the Kushner/Trump Middle East policy truly is a national emergency despite what the racist, bigoted, extremist Stephen Miller says about the “invasion of brown people coming from the south.”
For Trump, Pence, Pompeo, most Republicans and far too many Democrats to say that Iran is the “number one exporter of terrorism in the world” is laughable.

The US led coup in Venezuela is another example showing that the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia are the leading exporters of violence (terrorism) in the world and not Iran.
Engineering regime change in Iran (or in Venezuela) as Pence, Trump, Pompeo, Bolton, Netanyahu and bin Salman want to accomplish is repugnant and goes against everything that America stands for.
The US led coup in Venezuela is all about stealing Venezuelan oil, and regime change in Iran is all about getting Netanyahu reelected in April.
Trump owes Netanyahu and Trump’s saber rattling against Iran is payback for Israel’s collusion and cash in the 2016 election.
Trump has a power to respond to his perceived “emergency”. He vetoes the appropriation of 1.375 billion as inadequate to the emergency. He is trying to invoke a delegated Article I power that is given to him conditionally by statute. He cannot use that power after Congress has acted by appropriation. His authority, if any, is delegated by Congress. Nancy Pelosi may get on his last nerve, but that is not an emergency.
Trumpy von Trumperstein has a very high tolerance for the suffering of others. He has no intention of doing anything for the good of the American people. He’ll have to do whatever Putin wants at this point so he can get out of debt.
Also, wasn’t he just briefed by the full alphabet soup of intelligence agencies, and they mentioned: Syria, Russia, China, N. Korea – and not a single threat from our southern border. Can’t be much of an emergency if the entire intel community can’t see it coming.
