Social distancing and the mitigation lockdown, has thrown the Social Security and Medicare Systems into crisis. Cash flow.
24.6 million Americans have been thrown out of work over the past month due to the stay at home mandate.
These folks are no longer paying into the SS or Medicare systems and neither are their ex-employers. Cash flow.
Both SS and Medicare are being forced to drawdown their cash reserves in order to payout benefits which shortens the life-span of both of these programs.
Moscow Mitch’s bankrupt states and austerity budgets, coupled with the destruction of Social Security and Medicare……..it all sounds like a Republican utopia.
