Bipartisan support for “Surprise Medical Bills” legislation gaining traction …

Bipartisan efforts to protect patients from “surprise” medical bills are regaining momentum after stalling out over the summer.

Leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the chairman of the Senate health panel announced a deal Sunday they said would rely on “a new system for independent dispute resolution often called arbitration.” The lawmakers didn’t elaborate.

Alexandrea Bozarjian, reporter for a local Savannah, GA TV station was groped during an annual Talmadge Bridge run on Saturday.

“To the man who smacked my butt on live TV this morning: You violated, objectified, and embarrassed me. No woman should EVER have to put up with this at work or anywhere!! Do better,” she wrote.

Far Right object to Schiff obtaining evidence …

It looks like the Far Right are upset a little about Schiff acquiring phone records.

How was Schiff to know that Rep. Nunes was in contact with Parnas? Schiff didn’t subpoena Nunes’ records, only Giuliani and Parnas, it has been speculated. A spokesman said that no members of Congress or journalists phone records were subpoenaed.

Well-known grifter Rep. Tom Graves to retire from the HOR…

Good riddance. I am just wondering what other clown this Teabilly district will elect.

While this is being reported, few news outlets include this little incident.

Tea Party aligned Georgia Rep. Tom Graves (R), who castigates Washington for fiscal irresponsibility, reached an out of court settlement Wednesday after he was sued for defaulting on a $2.2 million loan — which his attorney argued is the bank’s fault for lending him the money in the first place.Graves and his business partner Chip Rogers — who is the state Senate’s Republican majority leader — took out a $2.2 million loan from the Bartow County Bank in 2007 to buy and renovate a local motel. The project soon went belly-up.

The bank, which has since failed and had its assets taken over, sued Graves and Rogers for defaulting.

I am familiar with the building and property. I just might not have the “vision” of Graves and Rogers to transform this property into a luxury business motel. All I saw was a dilapidated truckers’ motel.
