The “Angry Majority” …

I am from Georgia, so I know what kind of people Trump’s message reaches.
On social media, I do battle with what I refer to as the “Foghorn Leghorn” types that try to talk me down like my little “wimmin’s” brain doesn’t comprehend or able to grasp their ill-founded ideas. I remember the “Silent Majority.” But, this “Angry Majority” are loud and proud, and full of their own stuff.

I look at the Right Wing News every day. But, Trump labeling his base as the “Angry Majority” is a fitting label. Not in a good way.

Trust me.

This Fox News article is worth reading as it does have a paragraph of the “Jim Crow” election process in Mississippi if it is a tight race.

In case you don’t know “Foghorn Leghorn” here is an example…

Enjoy this with coffee.
Oh, Andy Beshear won Kentucky…

Carl Hiassen has real concerns about Nestle and Florida aquifers …

Damn Nestle. They think they are entitled to all the waters.

I know that people in the “Big Bend” area have pushed off Nestle’s effort to take their water. Nestle has not been successful and hopefully, future efforts will be successful.

A company called Seven Springs Water wants to renew a lucrative permit that allows the siphoning of Ginnie Springs, a scenic recreational site along the Santa Fe River near Gainesville…

The agreement would be bad for the Santa Fe and also the fragile Floridan aquifer, which supplies drinking water to millions of people. But for Seven Springs the deal is sweet: free water, which it then sells to NestlĂ©, the world’s largest bottler….

Once-pristine Ginnie Springs now carries nitrates from wastewater and farm runoff — ingredients you won’t see listed on Nestlé’s bottles.

Florida people… and I am from Georgia.

Withdrawal from Paris Climate accord…

The climate and environmental news coming out the past few days have not been good (or productive.) Trump has started the formal withdrawal Paris Climate Accord.

You need to go big or go home …

Honestly, Sondland said that

In one of the most gripping passages of her testimony, which took place Oct. 11, Marie Yovanovitch said that she remained worried that she would be a target of retaliation by Trump, who referred to her in his July 25 phone call with Ukraine’s president as “bad news” and someone who was “going to go through some things.”
“I was very concerned” upon reading Trump’s words when the rough transcript of the call was released, Yovanovitch testified. “I still am.” Asked whether she felt threatened, she replied, “Yes.”

“You need to go big or go home,” Sondland told Yovanovitch, she recalled in her testimony. “You need to, you know, tweet out there that you support the president and that [claims that she was disloyal] are lies.” Yovanovitch said she felt it was not appropriate for someone in her position to write such a tweet.

Yovanovitch does not deserve this crap.
