I Know You Are, But What Am I?

Q: How can you tell Dick Cheney’s lying? A: His lips are moving.
Vice President Cheney yesterday accused critics of engaging in “revisionism of the most corrupt and shameless variety” in the Iraq debate, in a major speech that reflected the uncompromising style that has made him a touchstone for many of the controversies shadowing President Bush.
In remarks before the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative research organization where he once served as a research fellow and a trustee, Cheney said Democratic critics of the war are lying when they say Bush lied about prewar intelligence to justify the invasion of Iraq.
It’s almost funny, how the kneejerk WashPo journalists revert to form: That the pre-war intelligence was manipulated to justify war is not in dispute, yet Dana Milbank and Walter Pincus turn it into yet another “fair and balanced” piece. Well, Cheney is pretty scary when he juts out those bottom teeth…

Shades of Spiro Agnew………
No one really wanted to get rid of Nixon until Agnew was no longer next in line. As much as I dislike Bush as President, Cheney scares the bejesus out of me. I actually suspect Cheney has considered the possibility of hanging George out to dry so he can take over complete control.
But what the hell do I know, I’m just an effete snob and a pussilanimous pussyfooter.
how can you tell Cheney is lying? the left side of his mouth is moving.
I thought that the left side was the paralyzed one.
