Birth control politics

By pretending it’s the Democrats who have politicized the issue, Bobby Jindal is, as usual, a lying sack of manure, and has more than a little something to do with keeping Obamacare from covering contraceptives, but as long as it drives the prices down low enough that women can afford it, fine with me.

  1. Thing is, it probably won’t make birth control pills less expensive. I know what happens every time a drug I take goes from prescription to OTC – once it’s no longer covered by my insurance co-pay, the price for a month’s supply more than doubles, in some cases WAY more.

  2. If it is Over The Counter, then Insurance won’t cover it. Bobby Jindel is trying to be too clever, again, and in so doing, trying to hurt women.

    DarthVelma is 100% correct.
