  1. You know those Democratic Senators are a bunch of bullshitters too, Suzie. The GOP is offering an amendment for a public option, which ironically is the last, best opportunity for anybody willing and wanting a public option, to vote for a public option. And they’re not going to vote for it.

  2. Relevance, Jay.
Can I say this just once? EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET IS UP TO SOME LEVEL IN SHIT. THE ONLY THING LEFT IS TO POINT OUT HOW HIGH ABOVE THE PILE OF SHIT ANY SPECIFIC INDIVIDUAL CAN STAND. NOBODY IS GOOD ENOUGH.
    We can move on now.

Some days I think I get too much caffeine.

  3. They’re going to vote for, and approve, other amendments that will need to be voted on by the House. Why not single payer or public option? They’re saying that they won’t make any changes to the bill so that it will sail through. But they are making changes. Why not single payer or public option?

Because the fix is in. It was always in. Obama didn’t step in until he got the deal he wanted. The dude’s a Republican. How is that not relevant? You know why the Republicans are so PO’d? They’re not getting the corporate funding. And the Democrats are. Because they sold out. Why do you think Specter switched? They’d all switch if they could! Don’t you get it?

  4. Jay,
You don’t honestly believe that any of the THUGS amendments are meant to pass, do you? You must know that they are just trying to delay everything, right? If not, Jay, put on the dunce hat and go sit in the corner for the rest of today’s class!

Now, be a nice boy, Jay, or I’ll call your mom to come get you from school.

  5. Any member of the senate can offer an amendment, and several senators are. Why is it ludicrous to suggest voting for an amendment that could pass? This is merely procedural. If the Senate makes ANY amendments, the house has to pass them (or not) and the house wants to avoid any more votes on this bill. But Senator Baucus (D) said there “will be changes.” So WTF? If we HAVE to have another vote in the house, why can’t we offer an amendment for single payer? WE WILL NEVER, EVER HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE AT THIS.

When these “liberal” “Democrats” pass Social Security “reform” as atrocious as this awful Catholic archbishop-approved health insurance company profit mandate bill, we’ll see who will be infantilizing who . . .
