I remember how evil the superdelegates were when it looked like they were going to vote for Clinton, and how undemocratic it was that they could vote for someone who didn’t win their state’s popular vote.
Then they turned good again after superdelegates abandoned Clinton for Obama, many of them voting for him despite Clinton winning their states.
Why, it was just like watching professional wrestling!
Yeah, but, they’re gonna increase the number of regular delegates from 80 – 85% of total delegates (by getting rid of alternates), so you know, it’s all good now.
“Why, it was just like watching professional wrestling!”
Because it is professional wrestling except wrestling is harmless.
Why not just give all the future candidates a reality show on all the major cable shows? Wouldn’t THAT force the candidates to be more realistic? And one way or the other, the constituancies could get a unscripted view of the candidates! Hey, it’s better than wreslin’.
