All of these Tea Party upsets are certainly making Democrats happy as they watch the GOP implode. The conservative voter frustration is destroying the establishment Republican party, but I doubt that any of these New Right candidates will win a general election.
It brings to mind the old joke about the guy who finds his wife in bed with another man and then puts a gun to his own head. The wife laughs at him, but he snaps back angrily,”Don’t laugh, you’re next!”
I know nothing about Mike Castle, but I wonder how he came off as such a poor candidate compared to the Tea Party princess. This is like watching a bizarre version of American Idol.
