Would Jesus then put them into drug treatment programs, thus sparing the children of drug-using welfare recipients? No, He would not. Jesus has His own problems, you people need to get out of that cozy social services hammock and deal.

Whenever I hear about these laws being proposed, I think of what a good idea it would be to have breathalyzers on the floor of the legislatures. Drinking and legislating don’t mix. How many full on, actively drinking alcoholics do you think there are in the congress and your state legislature?
Why is it OK for them to be addicts and still draw a government check?l
