I have always found it curious that DC politicians who fly all over the country and the world are so cavalier about going cheap on air traffic control. Are they all of such low intelligence that they can’t connect safe air travel with ATC?

Well duh…Of course it is not safe to staff the overnights with only one person, at that kind of job. Any idiot can think of things that can go horribly wrong and be quite deadly.
