As an IL state senator from IL and as a US Senator, Obama’s actions perfectly showed how he would act as president: Great speech or announcement with beneficial and strong actions proposed; a time of walking things back a bit; the meetings with Big Bidness representatives and further walking back on the proposed actions; eventually, he tended to end up accomplishing nothing except please the Big Bidness’s savvy businessmen.
A new low to be followed by the newer low when he approves the tar sands pipeline.
